Mr. ROBERTSONIt is not possible to give the information desired by my hon. Friend, as applicants for employment at a Labour Exchange are not asked whether or not they are members of a trade union.
§ Mr. O'GRADYIs the hon. Gentleman aware that as a matter of fact they are asked whether they are trade unionists, and, if they are, it prevents them getting employment?
Mr. ROBERTSONMy information is exactly the opposite. If the hon. Gentleman will give me any evidence it shall be carefully inquired into.
