HC Deb 05 June 1913 vol 53 c1030
36. Mr. FALLE

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if Mrs. M'Intosh, of 88, Reginald Road, Portsmouth, Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society, began paying under the National Insurance Act in July and was in August granted an exempt book because her average wage was under 4s. 6d., if in October she began paying again and has over twenty-six stamps paid in, seventeen on one quarter's card, four on arrears, and five on her card when she was taken ill on 14th February, and sick pay has been refused her; and if he can give the reason for this refusal and will see that Mrs. M'Intosh gets sick pay?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I am communicating with the society referred to in regard to this case, and I will inform the hon. Member of the result.
