§ Colonel SEELYIt is not considered to be in the interests of the public service to publish any information concerning the garrison of fortified places. I am, not aware that the present garrison is inadequate for the purpose for which it is maintained, but of course the size and composition of such garrisons are frequently being reviewed and changes would be made in the event of necessity being proved.
