Mr. CHARLES ROBERTSasked the Secretary to the Treasury, whether, when substituted site value is asked for under Section 2 (3) of the Finance (1909–10) Act, 1910, the Inland Revenue, in all cases where a number of claims are involved, can arrange for the inspection of the deeds at the office or place of business of the person who makes the claim, instead of requiring that the deeds of the property should be carried about for inspection at the local district valuation offices of the Inland Revenue?
§ Mr. MASTERMANWhile every endeavour is made to meet the convenience of the public in the production of deeds, I regret that it is not possible to make a general arrangement of the nature indicated by the hon. Member.
