§ The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Runciman)According to my information, foot-and-mouth disease was at least as prevalent in France during the first four mouths of this year as during the corresponding period of last 560 year, and considerably more so than in 1911. Owing to an alteration last year in the official method of tabulating outbreaks it is not possible to give exact comparative figures.
