§ Mr. CHURCHILLBy Article 14 of the King's Regulations, officers are forbidden to have any pecuniary interests or personal advantage in the purchase of or in contracts for the supply of provisions or stores of any kind for the use of His Majesty's ships or the naval service generally, or in contracts made for the execution of any naval works on shore.
