§ Sir E. GREYRecent reports from His Majesty's Minister at Mexico show that there is a good deal of disturbance, especially in the Northern Provinces, and in certain places British interests, in common with others, have suffered through the continued disturbances. His Majesty's Minister has not reported that British subjects are in danger, but I am in communication with the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty in case the presence of one of His Majesty's ships may become advisable.
