Mr. EDMUND HARVEYasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, whether his attention has been called to the circumstances in which the Ocean Island phosphate licence was granted to the Pacific Phosphate Company; and whether he will now publish the whole of the correspondence relative to the granting of this licence?
Mr. HARCOURTI do not think that the correspondence in question, which took place over thirteen years ago, is of sufficient public interest to justify the expense of publication.
