Mr. MALCOLMasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his 1038 attention has been drawn to the arrest and imprisonment of twenty-one persons in Barotseland, engaged in slave trading with Portuguese slave traders over the border; and, if so, whether he has instructed, or will instruct, His Majesty's Minister at Lisbon to draw the attention of the Portuguese Government to this traffic as constituting a serious menace to the good government of this portion of His Majesty's Dominions?
