§ The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. I explained what are the duties and emoluments of the office in reply to a question put on 12th June. I am afraid I cannot accept the suggestion in the concluding part of the question.
§ Mr. LYNCHMay I ask the right hon. Gentleman if he has observed that where the genius has been patronised by authority the authority has remained but the genius has flown?
