§ Mr. MASTERMANThe answer is in the negative. As I informed the hon. Member for South-West Ham on the 17th December last, the question of extending the exemption given by the Friendly Societies Act to registered friendly societies to approved societies generally, so far as regards their business under the Insurance Act, is under consideration.
