HC Deb 15 January 1913 vol 46 c2073
49. Mr. FRED HALL

asked the Prime Minister if he is aware that the Land Inquiry Committee, formed with his approval, adopts a different and less courteous method of conducting its inquiries where the estates of opponents of the Government are in question than where supporters of the Government are affected; and if he will take steps to give a more impartial character to the investigation?

The PRIME MINISTER

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. As regards the second part, as I have repeatedly stated, the unofficial Committee determines its own procedure.
