§ Mr. MASTERMANAn officer was sent to Germany to conduct during the autumn a detailed investigation with a view to the preparation of a report on medical benefit under the German State Insurance legislation in accordance with my promise of 24th July last. The publication of the report has been postponed in consequence of the protracted illness of the officer in question. It will, however, be laid on the Table of the House to-day.
