§ 32. Mr. VINCENT KENNEDY
asked the Chief Secretary what were the total expenses in connection with the election of Irish county and rural district councillors in 1911; and will he say how this compares with the similar expenses for 1908?
§ Mr. BIRRELL
I would refer the hon. Member to Parliamentary Return, No. 361, presented in November last, from which it 1357 will be seen that the total expenses in connection with the election of county and rural district councillors in Ireland in 1911 was £28,232, being an increase of £245 upon the expenses of the elections of 1908.
