§ Sir E. GREYI have nothing to add to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for the North-Western Division of Manchester on the 17th October last to the effect that no steps have been taken by His Majesty's Government in the matter, as unless it can be shown that British subjects of the Jewish faith are treated less favourably than those of other countries, there is no right under treaty to intervene.
