HC Deb 06 January 1913 vol 46 c794
1. Mr. WHITEHOUSE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether representations on behalf of Turkey have been made to Great Britain and other Powers to intervene in the peace negotiations now proceeding between the delegates of the Balkan States and of Turkey; and, if so, whether he will use his influence with the other Powers to prevent any intervention in favour of terms less favourable to the Allies than those proposed by them?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Acland)

I can make at present no further statement about the attitude of the Powers to the peace negotiations than has been made public already.
