HC Deb 01 January 1913 vol 46 c361
53. Mr. DUNDAS WHITE

asked the Home Secretary if he will take steps to secure an early consolidation into one enactment of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1885, the Vagrancy Act, 1898, the Immoral Traffic (Scotland) Act, 1902, and the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1912, with a view to simplifying and facilitating the administration of the provisions which they contain?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. McKenna)

I recognise the value of the consolidation suggested by my hon. Friend, but I cannot see my way to propose legislation for this purpose at the present time.
