§ Government Amendments made: After the word "office" ["an ecclesiastical office in the Church of Wales"], insert the words "or cathedral corporation." Leave out the words,
§ "and a sum equal to the amount applied by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners in such purchases shall be deducted from the produce of the property coming within the preceding paragraph of this Schedule accordingly,"
§ and insert instead thereof the words,
§ "the produce of such last-mentioned property shall be taken as having been diminished by the amount expended by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners on such purchases."—[Mr. McKenna.]
