HC Deb 04 February 1913 vol 47 c1974
28. Mr. J. M. HOGGE

asked whether, in addition to numerous other resolutions and requests to arrange a series of lectures on art in the National Galleries, Edinburgh, he has now received a unanimous resolution from the Edinburgh Town Council; and whether, in view of this and previous representations, he can see his way to arrange for such a course on Saturday afternoons in the summer of this year as a commencement?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I have not received any resolution from the Edinburgh Town Council. The question of art lectures (not necessarily on summer Saturday afternoons) is receiving attention, and I am in communication with the Treasury on the subject.
