§ 63. Sir J. D. REESasked the Secretary to the Treasury if a domestic servant gets ill and goes to his or her home, how his or her transfer is arranged from one to another panel practitioner?
§ Mr. MASTERMANAny insured person who changes his residence, on giving notice to the insurance committee of the area to which he is going, will be able to obtain treatment from a doctor on the panel in that area.
§ Mr. GRETTONCan the right hon. Gentleman give any indication of the amount of time that will be occupied in these transfers?
§ Mr. MASTERMANNo; I do not think I can. I think a Regulation has been issued on the subject.
§ Mr. MILDMAYIn the case of servants moving back and forward in the course of a year, does it apply to them?
§ Mr. MASTERMANCertainly, if they are a really long period of time away from one place to another, it will. If they are continually moving from one place to another I think they will find it more convenient to take advantage of the special arrangements.
§ Mr. GWYNNEIs a separate ticket necessary in each case?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI do not think so. Of course they will require a ticket.
§ Mr. GWYNNEHow will they have one to show to the second doctor if they have already given their pink ticket to their original doctor?
