Major WHITEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has received any representations from the Employers' Parliamentary Association with regard to the appointment of a special commission of experts to inquire into the subject of amendment of the National Insurance Act; and if he intends to take any steps in this direction?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, but I shall, of course, be pleased to consider any representations which the association may care to submit. With regard to the latter part of the question, I can at present add nothing to the statements on this matter which have already been made in this House.
