HC Deb 08 August 1913 vol 56 c1929
Mr. O'GRADY

I have been requested to present, on behalf of the Women's Suffrage Society, a petition from a mass meeting of over 15,000 at Leeds on 1st July, under the chairmanship of Grosvenor Talbot, in support of the constitutional demand for Woman Suffrage, the meeting, "believing that the exclusion of women from the Parliamentary Franchise is unjust and contrary to the principle of Representative Government, begs that your Honourable House will remove this injustice without delay."
