§ 34. Mr. BENNETT-GOLDNEYasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the fact that the military authorities at Canterbury are still encroaching upon the ancient rights of the public by closing, and endeavouring to close, certain public footpaths across the Old Park and adjacent lands; and if he will cause these matters to be put right at the earliest opportunity?
§ Colonel SEELYThe question presumably refers to a footpath which was the subject of a communication from the town clerk of Canterbury in June last. I understand that the General Officer Commanding is in communication with the town clerk on the matter.
