Mr. WALTERGUINNESS asked the Secretary for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the danger to lives of British subjects arising from the continuance of disorder in Mexico, he will take steps to prevent the shipping of war supplies to the rebels from British Possessions, and will try to induce other countries concerned also to prevent such exportations?
§ Sir E. GREYI have had no information of war supplies being shipped from the British Possessions to the Mexican rebels. The question of the exportation of such supplies from other countries is not one in which His Majesty's Government can influence other Governments?
