HC Deb 29 April 1913 vol 52 c977
22. Mr. EDMUND HARVEY

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can give the result of his inquiries as to outbreaks of disease amongst men and cattle in the New Southern Reserve allocated to the Masai, and whether cases of anthrax have been traced?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Harcourt)

I have not received any information as to an outbreak of anthrax or other disease among men or cattle in the New Southern Reserve allotted to the Masai, but there has not yet been time for the receipt of an answer to the specific inquiry which I addressed to the Governor on my hon. Friend's question of the 19th ultimo.

Mr. E. HARVEY

Will the right hon. Gentleman communicate the result of his inquiry to those concerned?

Mr. HARCOURT

Certainly.
