§ The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Captain Norton)There are eleven vacancies for postal overseers in London at the present time. In six cases recommendations for promotion are now under consideration, and in five others officers are either on trial or about to be selected for trial. No avoidable delay will occur in filling these vacancies.
