asked the number of employers that have been convicted for failure to pay contributions under the National Insurance Act in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales?

The numbers for the four countries are 69, 100, 10, and 5, respectively.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say how many employers there are awaiting trial?

No, I cannot say; I hope very few.
