§ 43. Colonel YATEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what was the conclusion arrived at by the Interdepartmental Conference that considered the question of how far it might be possible to restrict the demand for plumage by legislation in this country and the Colonies or by international agreement; and what action he proposes to take thereon?
Mr. HARCOURTI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to my answer to the question by the hon. Member for Christchurch on the 14th April, to which I can only add that the Government are still considering what action can be taken in the matter.
§ Colonel YATEIs there any prospect of any action being taken in the matter?
