Mr. KINGasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the value of the Report on Buildings for Small Holdings (Cd. 6708, of 1913), he can reduce 233 the cost from 11s. 3d., the price at which it is now issued, to some figure more within the roach of parish councillors and others, or, if this be not possible, whether he will permit the issue of this Report with the accompanying drawings and plans in some cheaper and abridged form, so that the valuable suggestions it contains for rural cottages and other buildings may be studied and adopted to the widest possible extent?
§ Mr. MASTERMANThe price of the Report on Buildings for Small Holdings (Cd. 6708) was fixed at 11s. 3d., in accordance with the scale of prices for Parliamentary Papers laid down by the Select Committee on Form and Distribution of Parliamentary Papers in 1889. The question as to the issue of this Report in some cheaper form as a Stationery Office publication is now under consideration by the Select Committee on Publications and Debates Reports.
