§ The SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Colonel Seely)During the last Army manoœuvres a practical test was made for the first time of a new system of transport in the field. The test was successful, and showed that with very few exceptions the officers and staff responsible possessed the necessary ability and experience in the moving and handling of large transport columns.
