§ Mr. MONTAGUThe Government of India reported that on the 5th inst., during the distribution of tribal allowances by the political agent outside Spinwam Post, a quarrel broke out among some young Waziris, and a general fight ensued. At night the post was attacked, but the attack was repulsed. Up to date of report no further disturbance had occurred. The post has been reinforced and other precautionary measures taken; but the outbreak appears to have been unpremeditated, and serious consequences are not anticipated.
