Gentleman is aware that the Herefordshire County Council and the Hereford Town Council have passed resolutions in favour of changing the name of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry to the King's Shropshire and Herefordshire Light Infantry; and whether, seeing that this regiment obtains a large number of their recruits from Herefordshire, and that no other regiment bears the name of the county, he can see his way to comply with the request contained in the Resolution?
