§ Colonel SEELYThere are no statistics at the War Office to show the exact numbers of officers employed on the horse classification. In addition to the officers of the Remount Department and the Territorial adjutants, a large number of other Regular officers have been employed on this work, in addition to their ordinary duties. No complete figures of the cost are therefore available.
