§ 68. Mr. THOMAS RICHARDSONasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, as alleged by the workmen at Felling Colliery, gas was found in the low main seam in February this year and, notwithstanding this and the protests of the workmen, the management persists in the practice of shooting off the solid in the said low main seam; and, if so, seeing that such a practice under such conditions is a violation of the Coal Mines Regulation Act and Explosives Order, will he cause an inquiry to be made into the above case?
