Mr. KINGasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware of the attacks made upon the Government in connection with appointments to positions in the public service without competitive examinations and that certain Returns have been made to this House on the subject; and whether any opportunity will be given, either on the Estimates or otherwise, on which the whole question may be adequately discussed by the House?
