§ 85. Sir EDWARD BEAUCHAMPasked whether the insurance committee of a county has power to extend sanatorium 571 treatment to dependants of insured persons resident in the county; and whether any insurance committees have made the necessary arrangements for the treatment of such persons?
§ Mr. MASTERMANThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Some insurance committees have already made arrangements for treatment of dependants, and the Commissioners propose to issue a circular letter recommending that other insurance committees should consider the question of extending sanatorium benefit to the dependants of insured persons.
§ Mr. MASTERMANIt is evident there is sufficient money already available.
