§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. H. Baker)The whole question of the future of the Royal Indian Marine has been under investigation by a Committee the Report of which is now under the consideration of the Government of India. Until that Report and the recommendations of the Government of India reach the Secretary of State, the question of arming the vessels cannot be considered.
