71. MARQUESS of TULLIBARDINEasked whether, under the provisions of the Temperance (Scotland) Bill, a man living in a prohibition area can enter a non-prohibition area, order liquor at a licensed grocer, and have the same delivered at his door in the prohibition area; and, if so, how is this to promote temperance?
Mr. McKINNON WOODThe Noble Lord is correct in his interpretation of the Bill: it does not prevent a man from purchasing drink where it can legally be sold for consumption in his own house.
