§ 78. Mr. CHARLES BATHURSTasked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he favours proposals for organising in this country, as in the United States, a milk supply that is certified as free from dirt, disease, antiseptics, and added preservatives; and, if so, whether, following the recommendations of Sir Thomas Barlow's Committee, he will consider the desirability of constituting a proper authority to certify the milk of those dairy farmers who desire such certification?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANI am aware of the proposals of the Committee to which the hon. Member refers, and I will confer with my right hon. Friend the President of the Local Government Board on the subject.
