§ 24. Colonel YATEasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether grooms who are only employed temporarily for a few months in the winter during the hunting season will have to pay both employer's and employe's contribution under the National Insurance Act during such time as they are unemployed?
§ Mr. MASTERMANGrooms in temporary employment will not be compelled to pay any contributions during unemployment but may do so, if they choose, subject to the ordinary conditions of the Act, in order to qualify for benefits at the earliest date, and (in subsequent years), if members of an approved society, in order to avoid falling into arrears.
