HC Deb 17 October 1912 vol 42 c1401
23. Mr. GODFREY LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked why the annual Report for the school year 1911–12 of the National Education Board for Ireland has not yet been presented to Parliament?

Mr. BIRRELL

The annual Report of the Commissioners of National Education is at present the subject of correspondence between the Lord Lieutenant and the Commissioners.

Mr. G. LOCKER-LAMPSON

Has the Report been suppressed on account of the financial statement in it with regard to the future of education?

Mr. BIRRELL

No, the Report has not been suppressed, and that part to which objection was taken has already been published in the newspapers by the Commissioners, and, therefore, all hon. Members, if they like, can read it.
