HC Deb 17 October 1912 vol 42 c1423
70. Mr. RENDALL

asked whether an approved society is entitled to put any words or figures upon a member's contribution card relating to the society's branch or to the books kept by it?

Mr. MASTERMAN

In the case of an employed contributor's card, no marks of any kind, beyond the name and address of the member, may be made by the issuing society until the card is returned. Voluntary contributors' cards bear the name of the approved society and the contributor's number.
