Mr. WATTasked the Lord Advocate whether his Department has any statistics of the number of appeals made during the last five years from judgments of sheriffs-substitute in Scotland who have been members of the solicitor branch of the legal profession and from those of sheriffs-substitute who have been members of the advocate branch of the profession, and also of the percentage of those judgments overturned in each case; and, if not, will his Department take note of these matters in future?
