HC Deb 26 November 1912 vol 44 c1020

I desire to ask the Prime Minister whether he still adheres to the statement made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer yesterday, that the business on Friday is to be the first day's business of the Committee stage of the Welsh Disestablishment Bill?

We hope to begin the Committee stage on Friday, but I have been looking into the matter, and I quite agree with those who think it would not be a reasonable thing to take on Friday both the Instructions and Clauses 1 and 2, and we do not propose to do so. When we come to the discussion of the Motion for the allocation of time on Thursday, I hope to be able to make provision.
