Petitions were presented praying the House not to pass into Law the Established Church (Wales) Bill by—

Mr. Fitzroy, (57 petitions) containing 5,484 signatures from the Northern Division of Northamptonshire; 48 petitions containing 5,872 signatures from the Mid-Northampton Division; and 14 petitions containing 5,957 signatures from Northampton Boroughs.

Colonel Williams, (43 petitions) containing 4,161 signatures from West Dorset.

Earl Winterton, (29 petitions) containing 4,228 signatures from the North-West Division of Sussex.

Sir William Bull, (6 petitions) containing 949 signatures from the Borough of Hammersmith.

Mr. Burgoyne, (12 petitions) containing 6,000 signatures from the Royal Borough of Kensington.

Mr. J. W. Hills, (106 petitions) containing 40,512 signatures from the Mid-Division, Jarrow Division, Durham City, South Shields, Sunderland, Bishop Auckland, North-West Division, Houghton-le-Spring, in the county of Durham.
