HC Deb 12 November 1912 vol 43 cc1805-6
53. Viscount WOLMER

asked the Prime Minister whether he intends to appoint a new Junior Lord of the Treasury; and, if not, will he explain why such an appointment is not to be made?

The PRIME MINISTER

There are at present at least the normal number of Lords of the Treasury, and I do not propose to add to them.

Viscount WOLMER

Does the right hon. Gentleman not think that in view of yesterday's proceedings the Lords of the Treasury need reinforcing?
