§ 76. Mr. FFRENCHasked the Postmaster-General if he will consider the advisability of establishing a system of insurance in connection with the Post Office whereby small parcels, such as parcels of Irish lace or poplin, could be sent free from risk to the Oversea Dominions?
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELA system of insurance is in operation in connection with the Parcel Post between the United Kingdom and practically the whole of the British Empire, with the exception of Canada and South Africa. I am renewing the endeavours which have previously been made to arrange for the extension of the system to these two Dominions.
