HC Deb 04 November 1912 vol 43 c834
62 and 63. Mr. C. BATHURST

asked (1) whether, in face of the opposition throughout the country on the part of the trading public, and especially agricultural producers, to the provisions of Clause 2 of the Railways Bill, the Government propose to proceed further with the Bill this Session; and (2) whether, in the event of the Railways Bill being proceeded with this Session, the Government will arrange, in view of the importance and complexity of the Bill and the multiplicity of interests affected, that two days shall be allocated to the Debate on its Second Reading?

Mr. BUXTON

I am afraid I cannot make any statement at the present moment.
