§ 74. Mr. OLIVER LOCKER-LAMPSONasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can issue a Parliamentary Paper showing in convenient form the exact understanding existing between this country and each of the Colonies in regard to the Navy and the kind and degree of contribution, and the disposition of ships in each case?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe agreements entered into between His Majesty's Government and the Dominion Governments concerned have been published in Parliamentary Papers, and the contributions now paid are recited in the annual Navy Estimates. A list of the ships maintained by the Dominions is published in the Navy List. I see no reason at the present time for collating this information which is already easily accessible.
§ Mr. LEEIn view of the exceptional interest felt in regard to this matter, will the right hon. Gentleman think it over with a view of possibly arriving at another decision?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI shall be on the look out for some occasion when it may be convenient to publish the agreements in a comprehensive form.
