Gentleman is aware that the compensation authority, under the Licensing Act, for the county of Derbyshire referred five houses to the Inland Revenue Commissioners, as to the amount of compensation to be paid, on the 11th of August, 1910, and two houses for the same purpose on the 28th of September, 1911, and that in the former case awards were not made by the Commissioners until the 13th of March, 1911, and in the latter case have not yet been made; and whether he will, in view of the hardship to those interested in the compensation to be awarded and the inconvenience to the compensation authority entailed by such delays, secure that awards shall be made in the latter case without further delay, and in similar cases in the future with greater expedition?
